BGF produces fabrics woven from Kevlar® 29 fiber and S-2 glass fiber
for ballistic protection for military, law enforcement, and civilian
markets. Kevlar® is a man-made fiber developed by DuPont that
is five times stronger than steel, and extremely lightweight. Fabric
made from Kevlar® is used in a variety of markets where safety
is a requirement. S-2 glass is a high strength glass fiber.
