BGF has been weaving fiberglass marine cloth since
1956. Our many years of manufacturing experience as well as our state of the art weaving
and finishing techniques have made our marine cloth world class in the Marine industry.
Our marine cloth utilizes 100% fiberglass yarns and is woven in a variety of patterns
and weights. One of the most important attributes of our marine cloth is the smoothness
of the weave and the chemistry of the finish.
Marine cloth can be found in many products we use every day, but we seldom realize they
are present. Marine cloth lies hidden beneath composite materials or other layers or so
that they are not visible to the eye, yet provide the support system that adds strength
and stability to the product while not substantially increasing the weight.
BGF's marine cloth meets several government military specifications such as:
MIL-Y-1140, MIL-C-9084, BMS 9-3, Lockheed FMS-3015A and Lockheed 5PTMGG15. Our marine
cloth is sold in standard widths of 38 50 & 60 and roll length is 125 yards.
BGF's marine cloth is used for the following applications:
