BGFMat2™ is a mechanically bonded glass fiber insulating blanket that provides reliable, superior performance at operating temperatures up to 1200ºF. Manufacturing controls include the use of carefully selected glass textile fibers to ensure uniformity of mechanical bonding with no additional binders. A finely engineered needling process creates uniform insulating efficiency during extended exposure to elevated temperatures.
BGFMat2™ offers good drapeability, easily conforming to irregular surfaces. It is odorless, does not contribute to metal corrosion, resists mold, decay, and vermin. The fibers are non-respirable 9 micron filament diameter, and provide excellent sound absorption and resistance to vibration without powdering.
