HENDERSON NAMED PRESIDENT OF BGF INDUSTRIES
GREENSBORO, N.C BGF Industries, Inc. announced today today that Jim Henderson has been appointed President of BGF Industries effective May 17, replacing Rick Cromer who left the company to pursue other interests.
"We believe that BGF will thrive under the proven leadership of Jim Henderson who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position," said BGF's owner, Robert Porcher, Chairman of the Board of BGF's parent company Porcher Industries and Glass Holdings Corporation.
Jim has served as Executive Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at BGF for 13 years. He was formerly Senior Vice President of United Merchants and Manufacturers, President of Uniglass Industries and Chairman of the Board of the Marglass subsidiary in England.
BGF Industries is a worldwide leader in the manufacture of technical textiles for the marine, electronics, filtration, insulation, and aerospace industries.
