BGF INTRODUCES ORDER ON LINE CAPABILITY
GREENSBORO, N.C BGF Industries, Inc. announced the launch of their new Order On Line initiative in association with the Thomas Register's popular Order Online program.
Order On Line allows customers to purchase selected fabrics at a reduced price from BGF's website at www.bgf.com or through the Thomas Register site, www.thomasregister.com. Potential buyers can select fabric from a style listing and click on various links to view details concerning availability, roll lengths and widths, preview data sheets, view a photo of the fabric, and request quotations.
"Initially, we will limit our offerings to stock overruns and closeout inventory sold at a discounted price, but will remain receptive to establishing full on-line capability should customer need dictate," said Jim Henderson, President of BGF Industries. "This program is another way of enhancing the top notch customer service that we are known for and sets us apart from the competition in the on-line technology field".
Last year, BGF rolled out a highly successful customer e-business system called B2BGF that provides customers detailed order information and streamlines transactions and other activities involved in doing business with BGF.
